NYPD Training

What started as an initial 6-week Human Development Professional Development Training turned into a transformative 2-year journey! When Mayor Eric Adams took office in 2022, one of his first initiatives was to deploy a new Neighborhood Safety Team (NST) to help reduce crime. To demonstrate his commitment to building strong relationships between law enforcement and the community, he wanted the officers to possess an emotional intelligence component.

Under Chief Juanita Holmes' leadership, we were brought in for what was originally a 6-week training series. This initiative evolved into 2 years of training captains, sergeants, and lieutenants across all sectors—patrol, detective, housing, and transit. The experience was truly powerful and impactful!
